[ENG SUB] 화면 전체를 가득 메운 붉은 파도는, 바다라기보다 먼저 한 몸의 내부를 떠올리게 한다. 셀 수 없이 많은 작은 선과 점, 짧게 끊긴 붓 자국들이 서로를 따라 흐르며 하나의 거대한 물결을 만든다. 수평으로 비스듬히 기울어진 붉은 흐름들은 파도의 결이자 모세혈관의 흐름처럼 보이고, 그 사이사이로 남겨진 흰 여백은 숨을 들이쉬는 틈처럼 바다에 스며든 빛이 된다. 진홍, 자주, 버건디가 겹겹이 쌓인 표면은 멀리서 보면 단색의 바다 같지만, 가까이 다가갈수록 농도와 질감이 다른 수많은 층위가 드러난다. 번져나간 물감 자국은 따뜻한 피가 퍼져 나가는 듯 부드럽고, 여러 번 눌러 찍힌 작은 점들의 집합은 거친 포말이자 세포의 집합처럼 촘촘하다. 차갑게만 느껴질 수 있는 붉은 단색은 이렇게 서로 다른 결을 부딪치게 하며, 상처의 기억과 동시에 그 안을 통과해 흐르는 생명의 온기를 함께 품는다. 바다는 외부의 풍경이 아니라, 몸 안을 가득 채운 피와 같은 리듬으로 그려져 있다. 물결은 곧 심장 박동처럼 규칙적으로, 때로는 소용돌이치며 불규칙하게 이어지고, 화면을 가로지르는 방향성은 파도가 밀려오고 물러나는 호흡과도 같다. 이 바다 위에는 뚜렷한 수평선도, 구체적인 지형도 없지만, 그 대신 붉은 물결 사이로 어렴풋이 떠오르는 하나의 몸, 하나의 마음이 있다. 작품 앞에 서면 관람자는 바다를 바라보는 누군가의 얼굴을 찾기보다, 자신 안에서 조용히 일렁이는 감정의 파도를 느끼게 된다. 상처났던 자리, 다시 피가 돌아온 자리, 아직 비어 있는 흰 여백이 한 화면 안에서 함께 숨 쉬며, 바깥의 바다와 내 안을 흐르는 생명이 같은 빛을 품고 있음을 천천히 깨닫게 한다. 이 붉은 바다를 오래 바라볼수록, 파도 소리 대신 심장 박동에 더 귀 기울이게 되는 순간이 찾아온다. Countless tiny lines, dots, and short, broken brushstrokes flow together, forming a vast, undulating wave. Layers of crimson, magenta, and burgundy appear as a uniform sea from a distance, yet up close, the subtle variations in tone and texture emerge. Washed brush marks suggest the gentle spread of warm blood, while dense clusters of repeated tiny dots feel like frothy surf or cellular formations. The deep red, which could otherwise feel cold or flat, becomes dynamic—holding both the memory of past wounds and the warmth of life flowing through them. The sea is not an external view, but painted as a rhythm of blood that fills the body. Waves move with the regularity of a heartbeat, sometimes swirling in irregular patterns, their directions mimicking the ebb and flow of breath. There is no clear horizon or defined landscape; instead, faint traces of a body and a mind emerge among the crimson waves. Standing before the canvas, viewers are drawn not to a face gazing at the sea, but to the quiet waves of emotion stirring within themselves. Scars that have healed, blood that has returned, and empty white spaces coexist on the surface, gradually revealing that the life flowing in the external sea and within the viewer shares the same light.
